Does Hirelens make things up on my CV?
No. Rewrites only rephrase what you've already told us. If a bullet needs a number you didn't give, we mark it with a placeholder like [X%] so you fill in the real figure. Every evidence quote is checked against your text before it's shown.
Is my CV stored or used for training?
Free scans are processed and discarded. Pro users can choose to save scans for version history; you can delete them any time. We never train models on your documents.
How is the match score calculated?
Each requirement in the job is weighted by importance (must-have vs preferred), then matched against evidence in your CV: direct match, partial, or missing. The score reflects weighted coverage plus seniority fit. The ATS score separately estimates how well a parser will pick up your keywords and structure.
Will it help me beat applicant tracking systems?
The keyword map and ATS gauge show exactly which job terms your CV is missing, so the ones you genuinely have can be stated clearly. It won't stuff keywords you can't back up.
Can career coaches use it with clients?
Yes. The Career Coach plan holds 25 client profiles and exports white-label reports with your logo and colours.
What languages does it support?
